It is very beautiful up here in the high valley - the adjoining forest with its fauna and flora, countless streams rushing to the valley, lush meadows in the valley and on the slopes, wide views, ever-changing skies.

The Bernauer Hochtal and its immediate surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for hiking, Nordic walking and mountain biking. There are lots of other adventurous offers too. You can climb mountain sides or tree tops, paraglide from the heights, sail on the nearby lakes, swim or dive. There are also several excellent regional golf courses, and we have good tennis courts just behind the hotel.
Deep snow-covered slopes, cross-country ski runs and hiking trails - that's what you come to in the Bernauer Hochtal in the winter months. There's no shortage of opportunities to go skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing and winter hiking in the idyllic white Black Forest.
